Ouroboros

She turned... just as he strode into the atrium. His shoes gleamed, his shoulders - a little guarded. His eyes: swiftly directed out of the window to the side as he sharply inhaled. But he had already seen her shape and her glow, he knew who she was and something tightened inside. Regaining composure, he gracefully returned his gaze straight ahead to meet her eyes. A grey-green light from a forgotten, distant place. As her eyes scanned his, immediately drawing her soul in deeper, inviting colour to her cheeks. His bristled face disguising a boyish grin, and his voice as he greeted her, invited some kind of remembrance through the veils of woodland scents and bare skin. Equinox approached...

'You've travelled far.' He nodded his brow in respectful greeting.

'Aye, I am less weary now, but I long for the sun again. Still, I am happy to be home with my clan.' She replied, feeling immediately more at ease.

'Ah, I yearn to travel - I never did! Probably, it is too late now...' Wistful, his gaze returned to the window.

Three months later, as her cart trundled toward the city halls where the Lady was hosting her Christmastime engagement, Sansha hot with anticipation, knew what she was travelling toward.

'I'll be there.' She had assured him, knowing he felt the same anticipation.

And there, she could have stayed with him a thousand years.

'Let's just disappear...' he whispered.

'But the othe...oh kay.' Exhaling.

Following his lead and rosy with mead, they walked arm in arm in synch, chattering excitedly. Bantering, fission firing for passions to heighten...

Until that time they had to return from their hazy dreamspace and face the oxymoronic foundations in their worlds, apart. It felt like time-travel from the otherworld. She had ached as if being torn in two, every time they parted.

The Ouroborus: protector of the tree of life, the manifest world.

Or, the beginning of the end... the beginning and the end.

To me, it seems similar to Aurora Borealis: The Dawn.

Coldplay: I'm Going Back to the Start

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry You don't know how lovely you are I had to find you, tell you I need you Tell you I set you apart Tell me your secrets And ask me your questions Oh, lets go back to the start Running in circles, coming in tales Heads are a science apart Nobody said it was easy It's such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easy No one ever said it would be this hard Oh, take me back to the start I was just guessing at numbers and figures Pulling your puzzles apart Questions of science, science and progress Do not speak as loud as my heart And tell me you love me Come back and haunt me Oh and I rush to the start Running in circles, chasing tails And coming back as we are Nobody said it was easy Oh, its such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easy No one ever said it would be so hard I'm going back to the start
